2024 Acura ZDX Review: The Ultimate $30k Used Luxury EV Bargain

Sep 18, 2026

2024 Acura ZDX Review: $70k Luxury EV for $30k?

The 2024 Acura ZDX was Acura's first electric vehicle, built on General Motors' Ultium platform via a short-lived partnership between Honda and GM. Sharing its 102 kWh battery pack with the Cadillac Lyriq, the ZDX features a long 121.8-inch wheelbase, distinctive styling, and up to 499 horsepower in the performance-focused Type S trim.

While original MSRPs launched between $65,850 and $74,850, cheap lease deals and the cancellation of the GM-Honda joint venture after a single model year triggered steep depreciation. Today, pre-owned ZDX A-Spec models have settled into the low $30,000 range, while used Type S models hover between the upper $30,000s and low $40,000s. Because these vehicles are only two years old, buyers still get the benefit of remaining factory basic, powertrain, and battery warranty coverage.
