The 2024–2025 Kona Electric SEL is the core of the redesigned lineup, utilizing a 64.8-kWh battery to provide 261 miles of range. Unlike the base SE, the SEL adds roof rails, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats. It features the same dual 12.3-inch panoramic displays found in the Limited trim and includes Highway Driving Assist (HDA 1.5) for a more relaxed highway experience.
